I have a 3 year old 37 inch that comes on and then immediately goes off what can be the problem

PC is stuck in sleep mode. no PC told? no OS told
but
where are these touch buttons (yes monitor manual told me.)
11 year old monitor , is PC 11 years old too? non told.
monitor is samsung P2770 (2010 ) made
the model has letters at the end of 2270, that tell helper what ports it has. (vga,hdmi,dvi,DP,) not told what yours is connected.
1920 x 1080 max reso

try the monitor on other good PC too see if the monitor has problems or not, easy way to cut the problem cause in half.
the monitor manual below shows hot to do OSD reset inside it.

I had the same problem with my 7 year old Sharp Aquos 37 inch LCD TV and took it to the service center and replaced the panel board which costed me around 7000 INR (USD 100) and it has been 1 year and no problems whatsoever. Service center guys told me flicker of pictures is a indicator of the panel board issue. I had no other choice but to go with the recommended option or replacing a panel board or buy a new TV.

Sounds like a Tab Issue,Connections are Become Bad on the Inner Connections to the Screen,The Real Fix would be to Replace The Panel

power supply blew you need a new one

WITHOUT A SOUBT THE POWER PANEL

Try replacing the Lamp and see if that fixes it.

i have seen this problem before its the control board in the back the board is about 150 dollars and it goes every DING DING 5 years lol horrible design of the one that comes on the fridge every ge side by side has this problem  its very easy to replace but have to "ground" yourself before you touch the new control board meaning rub you hands on plumbing pipes, not pvc or copper

If your TV is less then a year old, i would suggest to call the vendor or manufacturer to have the LCD repair under warranty. Most electronics devices carry one year warranty.
The failure of your LCD is not related to any fuse since you're still getting some lights from it.

Polaroid has a 1 year manufacturers in-home warranty on 32+ inch TV's. Contact them and they should send someone to fix the TV for you.

Since it is still under warranty make it Polaroids "problem"
