Just check the water catcher and empty if full.

Water tank slides in from the side,and filter is behind the vent ( intake).

I have the window rig and am not using it.

Blow air on the drain hose

Mine is a different brand, but it has a "bucket" in the back I have to empty every day.

Needed the manual to clarify a P1 error message. Figured how to fix the error P1 on my own. there are two drains on the unit, one is always open as an overflow drip, the other at bottom of unit has a plug. I opened the plug at the bottom of the unit, drained the water, and the P1 error code cleared.

I just purchased a 11,000 BTU Everstar from Home Depot. Not sure if it's the same model that you have. Maybe check there? I bet an employee would be willing to open one of the boxes to answer your question. Just tell them you bought it there. :) Or call Everstar, of course. Good luck!
