you can't change the default name...that is always left blank, but you can change the password.

Access the user interface & click on Administration.  It should automatically be in the Management section at this point.

Enter your desired password in the Router Password field.
Re-enter to confirm the password in the next field.

Click on Save Settings.

While the original factory default settings are being restored to the base station, the Power light on the base station turns orange. When the light is solid green, the settings have been restored. If you want to open the Base Station Management Tool after the settings have been restored, type admin as the password on the Logon page. After you restore the factory default settings to the base station, you should navigate to each page of the Base Station Management Tool and reestablish the network settings you want, or restore the base station settings by using a backup file. This sounds like you need to set up your main gateway or WAN port settings on the datatone to match what your ISP provides? Is it possible to get suggested settings from the ISP?

First RESET your router to defaults.
for that press RESET button for 10 seconds RESET button is in back side of router.
Then connect your router to computer with ethernet cable.
Then you can access it with following link.
http://192.168.1.1
or
http://192.168.0.1
type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or blank or "password"
Then you can see configuration page of router.
Set WAN settings as your internet service provider settings.
Enable DHCP .
CLick on wireless and enable wi fi.
If you want secure router then enable WEP security then add new code it is your password key for connect wi fi.
