I\'ve used that motherboard (asus m2n-mx) with xp, I had no problems, but when I upgraded to windows 7, it shows me only digital output althought it has no digital output, only analog... The same on an other pc with the same motherboard, so I need to get an analog output working. HELP ME!

From the specs of your motherboard it uses a sound max audio device to do sound and I am not sure but this might be a driver that will work for you for windows7 I would say windows 7 has loaded a generic driver that doesn't quite work

I had the same problem and ASUS tech support was of no help. I did however find the culpret in the BIOS setup. Go to Advanced, Chipset, NorthBridge Chipset, and Memory Configuration. Set the Bank Interleaving to Disabled and save the settings. Check these settings also while you are there:
Channel Interleaving = Auto
Enable clock to all DIMMS = Disabled
Memory Tristate = Disabled
Memory Hole = Enabled
Unganged Mode = Enabled
Power Down Enable = Enabled
Power Down Mode = Channel

It is better to install windows xp..
because 2003 is not supportting latest mother boards.
only windows xp will solve that problem
thank u.....
SOURCE: my motherboard's drivers are not supporting in windows 7
if asus.com drivers arnt working then the only other thing you can try is looking at the additinal updates in windows update sometimes there are driver updates in there.
