Power surge came through my house now i cant get my 42 inch panasonic to come on , it does keeps clicking

Damages due to lightening surge can go to any extent in a tv set. If you can, please open the back cover and check the fuse. Replace with the same rating one if you find it blown. Switch on the set. If it works, enjoy watching. If it blows again, please consult some TV tech.

Likely a power surge hit your house while away. This happens when power turns back on or lightning hits close to your house. If insured, call insurance company about it. You may be covered for replacement or have deductible applied. Small appliances like this are most susceptible to power surge. There is not enough protection designed in..
