All, I own a whirlpool refrigferator (4 yrs) that has recently been giving us problems. Any suggestions or troubleshooting recommendations would be greatly appreciated. My refrigerator is a top-bottom model with inside water dispensor and icemaker. We noticed it had been making loud noises lately. Almost like knocking clicking sounds coming from inside. Then one evening, we noticed lots of water that had spilled into the inside and outside of the fridge. Fridge appeared to be off. We immediately thought it was the compressor and thought we would have to purchase a new one. Out fridge in only 4 yrs old and were quite upset. However, we plugged fridge back in but turned off the water line and it has been working perfectly with great cooling with no issuse. (2 days) That is until yesterday when we turned the water source back on. At first it worked just fine. Then last night, around 6 hrs after turning water back on, I heard the sound of water being dispensed to the icemaker followed by the sound of water dripping. I immediately went to the fridge and saw water being leaked into the inside of the fridge. I need suggestions and possible cause to help fix the problem. Does it sound like compressor issue or clogged drainage, line issues. Please help! Alex

Own the same frig. Ice maker works but inside water dispenser does not. Found water on top shelf and also under produce drawers.
Any suggestions
water under produce drawers and also on floor under fridge.
sounds like it is in the Freon lines or possibly the lower water line entering in the back
