Follow the following steps to save your configuration settings.
1: Download & install OxyCube.
2: Connect your phone with USB cable. (USB Cable drivers must be installed)
3: Run OxyCube.
4: Select C: (Your phone memory).
5: In folders tree select Omadm Folder.
6: There will be 70 Numbered folders under Omadm.
7: Delete all folders accept first 5 & the folder named PRECFG.
8: Disconnect your phone.
9: Reboot your phone.
10: Either request you provider to send you settings. or insert it manually.
11: This time the settings will save normally.

My solution is required another nokia 6300 that no this problem and need program NOKIA PC SUITE.
first you should backup setting from this phone via nokia pc suite
after connect your phone 6300 that have config problem to computer
then restore the setting from backup to your phone after restart your phone and enjoy.

The problem is because the deleted settings are still there hidden in the phone;the above blog helps to delete the older settings and solve the problem
