Tv says no signal

Do you have Direct TV or any cable company?

Your TV must receive a digital signal in order for the DTV option to be available. Since you are not seeing all of the channels when you auto scan then it can be assumed that the signal cable connected to your set is not providing the digital signal. Make sure you are scanning for the proper source of your signal ( Cable TV, Broadcast TV)

your tv might be an analog kind of tv and doesnt pick up digital signal since its an analog, secure a digital converter and set ur tv to channel 3 so u can pick up a digital signal and tv will stop scanning.

u cant.......the antenna gets only over the air signals while the cable are actually wire transmitted signals meaning if its cable transmission u want u will have to consult the broadcast provider to hook u up with there particular signal cable to your tv thats what is called cable tv a reason ya antenna cant receive cable signals is compartibility

Check and replace its tuner. Check all connections for firmness.

No,all small CRT tube analoge tvs types are getting analoge freeview signal only.U trying to hook this tv up now for for freeview will not work because it are all digital format signal now.Tries websites like Amazon.com,Ebay.com buy a box call Digital Coverter box hook this box betwwen the tv the in incoming freeview AIR broabroast tv signal will able to get a digital signal.Or u must have pay cable or satallite broadcating signal to used a analoge CRT tube tv now.

u cant get sound from TV linked to PC.....as the PC's sound system use a RF connection...it does not have a amplifyer...the sound system travel in two formats....non-amplified and amplified....the sound sent from PC/Laptop it's already amplified...but the TV connector can receive only non-amplified signal(say from a DVD player, camcorder, music system etc)...it cant process the signal from PC/laptop......you can connect ordinary speakers ment for laptop to the sound out jack in the PC/laptop and use the TV to receive the video signal....from PC

Tv does work for HD but must have cable or satellite tv signal.Yes,this tv able to play HD signal,but it is a CRT-(tube tv) design was built before the DTV switch over and never added the DTV tuner in it board circuitries.Sorry antena free DTV this tv must have to added the converter box to get the DTV free air signal.

I don't know what make of TV you have but some manufacturers have two tuners at the rear of the TV. One for terrestrial signal & one for digital signal. If this is the case put the aerial into the digital input & try retuning. If this does not work then if you could provide the details of you TV eg. make & model, then I will try to help you further.

If the tv powers on correctly, then recheck all wire connections (including ac cord) are in proper placement and fit. Make sure the DVD is working properly and is connected properly to the tv. Visit the tv menu and check all settings for input signal. Be sure to have the correct "input source" set on your tv.
