When the crankshaft position sensor is replaced does it require to be sync with anything under the hood. researched the net and received conflicting info. what like to know yes or no and if plug and go would work. this part is not for any other vehicle except a 98 gmc sonoma 4.3 5speed. the pick a product portion of the question preview is invalid, just would not let me submit this ? without one of their answers

If you didn,t use the code reader to delete the code after it was replaced, It will take a while for it to (Clear) Some codes will take up to 3 weeks to clear, Depending,On how many times the car was starded up end Stoped,
You don't need to take off any pulleys to get to it. It's on the passenger side of the engine block above the axle and catalytic converter. You'll need an 8mm wrench to remove it.
