Can anyone tell me that panasonic KX-TG6072b cordless phone purchased works in india
if yes ...how cani make this possible..i shipped this phone to india...it worked for some minutes then it is not turnign on..

Hai Guys as per the DoT Guidelines only 2.4 Ghz cordless phones are allowed in India and 5.8 Ghz is alloted to Milatary Communication purpose. Thats why there are certain cases whare the phones are get disables when it interfear with the Defence signals. Basically it may take place in contonment areas. Just check it out. You phone can be reset to original settings by Panasonic Service Center.

I have to buy new one and send it to India. This time only siemens or Uniden.
My friend he suggested me to go for american brands like uniden or Siemens. Similar 5.8 ghz technology, he did not have any problem so far.he is using it in india.

I have brought Panasonic KX-TG6072B 5.8 GHz Digital Cordless Telephone
from USA in August 07. I have used it for 3/4 days. But after that it is not working & showing message like "No link to base...".
I have tried to do handset registration & followed all the instructions as per the troubleshooting guide & operating instruction manual. But still it shows the same message "No link to base...".
Local (Pune,India) Panasonic service center says that it's RF Unit may be faulty. This center has to import it and I am following with this center since August to get cordless repair. This is the status.
