Please give the exact examples you were trying to graph. The syntax error points to an error in the input line, such as using the minus sign instead of the change sign (-).

SOURCE: Where is the factorial (!)

There is no button but a menu tab.
In Run screen, enter the number whose factorial you want to calculate ( number can be at most equal to 69), press [OPTN][F6] to get to next page pf menus. Press then [F3](PROB) then [F1] (x!) followed by [EXE].

How come when i try to do inverse trig function on my fx-9750 gii calculator it says Ma error?

Just wondering if the other functions are working.

The manual references setting up angle unit and setting up the "comp for mode" in the setup.

The keys you should be pressing to do this calculation are on page 51 (2-31) of the attached manual.

Good luck. If unsuccessful, please repost.

Syntax error for graphs

This happened to me. I left my calculator open in my bag and accidentally on the 20th function there was a multiply sign, so the calculator would directly output syntax error. Scroll down and check all your function slots are clear.

My casio fx-9750 is stuck on T when I use the x, theta, T button. How do I get it back to x?

T is the default (independent) variable name in parametric function graphing. Change the graphing mode to function y=.

When i am graphing and I enter- Y1=Sin(theta) it does not graph it and says syntax error

When drawing function graphs of type Y1=, the name of the independent variable should be X
For polar graphs r=.., the independent variable is theta, while for parametric graphs it is T
To enter the default independent variable, press the key marked [X,Theta, T] . It will type in the correct name.

Can this calculator do present and future value?

No, it does not. You will need a graphing calculator such as the Casio FX-9750G Plus or the newer version FX-9750 GII.

Graphing syntax error

To draw graphs.
  1. Turn calculator ON (isn't that obvious?)
  2. If you see no icons, press [MENU]
  3. Use arrow to move focus on GRAPH and press [EXE]
  4. By default, the graph type is Y=
  5. Enter your equation on line Y1=, use the [X,theta,T] key to enter the X-variable
  6. Press [EXE] when finished entering a function.
  7. Enter other functions if you want.
  8. When done, press [F6:Draw].
  9. If you do not see a big portion of the curve you can press [SHIFT] [F2:Zoom] and select [F5:Auto]
I am enclosing screen captures. The screens you see may not look exactly as on the FX-9750G, but all menu commands you have to execute are accessed by the same key sequences.

Graphing

Hello,
Your question puzzled me for a while, and now I understand why tou cannot graph it. I suspect you get a syntax error. (By the way it is extremely helpfull for us to know exactly what message you get).
To draw the exponential you do not use the caret [^] as you would any power. You enter it as Y1= [SHIFT][e] [(] [X, theta, T] [)] . The parentheses seem to be unnecessary but I would enclose the argument of the function in parentheses.
Hope it helps.
