Hi there! If the spray trigger is stuck try removing and replacing the handle. Remove the two screws that attach the handle. Slide the handle off. Inspect the two rods inside of the handle for damages. Make sure both rods are pulled down. Replace handle and two screws. If the spray trigger is still stuck or if the rods were damaged in any way a replacement handle may be needed. If so I have included a link where you may purchase a replacement handle. Search Results Good luck!

Castex Scx 400

It sounds like the valve that actuates the flow of water is stuck open. Whether or not you could fix it depends on how the handle is configured. If the handle triggers something internally then it needs to be disassembled and the valve given some oil.

Bissell 1400-5 trigger stuck and not spraying

Hi there. Not having spray when you really need it can be frustrating. I'm sorry you're having difficulty with the trigger.
You may want to have a Qualified Tech at one of our Authorized Service Centers inspect your machine. Here's a quick link to help you locate one in your area: http://www.bissell.com/service-centers/?cid=ccsocial

Bissel cleaner won't stop spraying water

Remove the handle and check for continuous spray.
After handle is removed, check to make sure the valve is not stuck in the down position. If the valve is stuck in the down position, push on it manually to get it to come back up. If it is stuck you may need to get a new handle for your unit. This handle is for a variety of the ProHeat models http://www.bissell.com/parts/?sc=part&productid=2775&partid=4449&cid=ccsocial

Check to make sure it will properly fit your model if you need a new handle.

Trigger on hose attachment not working so water sprays constantly

from your description, the trigger sounds like it is stuck in the release position. this sounds like a very simple repair. The component parts need to be looked at by a service shop

Bissell carpet cleaner sprays with every forward motion.

Check the valve at the bottom of the tank to make sure it is opening and closing. If ok, there are some relays, one may be stuck open.

Water & soap spray constantly even when trigger is not depressed.

The connection for the hose to the cleaner is also a valve assembly. There is a white plastic spring- loaded sleeve that the hose must push in for water to flow into the hose. Part # is 43523004. This is a rather flimsy part, mine cracked and cleaner continously leaks out the backside of the valve housing until the tank is empty GRRRRRRR!

www3.sears.com there are diagrams and parts lists for similar model F7452-900.
