You're battery and phone may be HTC but your battery may only be 3.2 V while your phone is 5v try looking at the battery output and the phone output they are both in the battery compartment. I had the same problem with my HTC EVO V
Here's my recommendation to maximize your battery power :
Fully discharge the battery of your HTC
Charge it fully
Repeat this for 3 times. This will enable your HTC to properly hold the battery power and maximize it's resources. For your convenience, I've included the user's manual :
What do you mean by HTC battery is not up to "dat" (that) level?
Is it always running out of battery so easily? Or it's not charging correctly.
HTC phones has a battery life basis. Please refer to the info below:
Standby time: Up to 490 h (2G) / Up to 390 h (3G) Talk time : Up to 6 h 20 min (2G) / Up to 5 h 40 min (3G) Music play: Up to 12 h
If your HTC phone's battery is not not reaching the said hours, there could be a possibility that your battery is defective. You may send your phone to the dealer and have them repair it, or replace it if it's still under the warranty period.
Please run through below link for possible stores where you can buy the battery for your phone. Kindly choose what country you came from and purchase to the dealers that carry HTC brand.
