Sounds like you have an issue with a broken or off pulley belt.

SOURCE: Deck belt broken, l need

Hi,

You will find the diagram on the left side of the deck as you sit on tractor by left foot. It will be located under the foot pedal that has the routing diagram specifically for your Troy-Bilt mower model. Note that owner's manuals may not have the most current schematic.

Also you can check this link to download the diagram:-

SOURCE: troy-bilt model 13AN77TG766 wont go

The manual probably won't be of much help with this problem. Your transaxle may have seized up or failed due to the introduction of water into it. A lot of riders have had this problem, especially the ones with the DANA manufactured transaxle. I hope this is not your problem, and that the problem is in your shifter linkage between the lever and the transmission.

I am continuing to look for the manual. In the meanwhile, here is your complete machine with All parts, diagrams, breakdowns and part costs included. Hope this helps. It is sometimes tough to locate manuals as you have found.

SOURCE: I have a troy bilt riding mower blades will not engage in the 1 or 2 deck setting

There is a spring attached to a tensioner that probably came unhooked while changing the belt. Higher deck settings push the deck backwards enough to spin the blades, the lower setting need the spring tensioner to take up the slack in the belt.

Troy bilt zero turn mower runs but does not move

Make sure the gears are engaged. There are 2 metal hooks on the rear of the mower, 1 on each side, if they are pulled out the mower is out of gear, make sure to slide them over so they retract back into the mower. If not the problem, sounds like either broken drive belts or the transmission isn't working properly.

Adjust clutch pto

normally they work by spring lock system, follow the bar under the hood or engine and check if any broken or missing spring or parts often bended by running over things
