Why does my Konica Bizhub 253 offset the image?

You are compensating the wrong way. Setting the border to 0 (zero) means it will try and print to the edge, but your printer is missing. Try a 0.25cm or 0.5cm border which brings the image inboard of the envelope edge.

Borderless Printing is for set sizes of photo stock paper and normally doesn't matter if the edge of an image is trimmed, because the subject is in the centre. You don't see what has been missed.

Both MS Word and the Printer Properties must be set for 5x7 printing, but Word specifies a Margin.

Check the print head (s) for that that/those colors

what model machine??? are the draws properly set for the correct paper, empty all draws send the print job let the screen tell you what to do next.

It looks like the margin settings in your printing program need to be adjusted.

Its not in the copier. Its on whatever program your printing from. Try playing with the settings. Don't forget, you can use regular paper until you figure out your correct orientations.

The corona housing for the back drum need to be replaced. Get a new black image unit drum and developer units

When C-35**,C-38** or C-39**(fusing temperature related
abnormality) occurs, be sure to repair defective parts before
setting DIPSW3-1 to 0. Setting DIPSW3-1 to 0 with defective
parts not repaired results in a fire.

First Are informing the copier of the proper paper weight
? The paper weight is on the outer wrapping of the paper such as 75 g/m2 or 90 g/m2 etc. did you tell the machine that? Did you select the same weight when you sent the print job over to the machine in your print properties/perferencies ? They have to match! Check the orientation of the paper also ensue they match landscape or portrait? they have to match in the computer also.

Check and see if it does it on copies too. If so then your paper trays maybe out of center or your paper guides may be open. If everything is center and registration is correct, your print may be in the "Void Margin" this is an area around the page the machine will not put toner in. Konica Minolta Bizhub C203 copiers do not have an edge to edge print capability

It sounds like your Cyan imaging unit has gone down.
Have you thought of changing the orientation of your paper from A4 protrait to A4 landscape. If the blue line is at the bottom, changing the orientation should hide the problem. It's not going to fix it, and if you use A3 then you will see the line again. It's just an idea and you could save yourself £250 on a new unit.
