Hi. I have renault laguna 2 .01 plate im having issues. I was on the motor way when i stopped at a services.after getting back to my car 5 mins later she would not start but turned over fine .after 20 mins she started fine no issues.then abbout 100 miles up at another services.it happen again tried to start her and again she turns over but wont start then 20 mins later she start fine.this kept happening everytime i turned the egine off ..every annoying. And now a week on everytime we run her and then try to use her again within 20 mins she will not start... there r no light on dash to show any error can some 1 help

1. The tyre has to be removed to fit the tyre valve/ sensor unit to the wheel. . Tyre dealers will do this for you when you supply the sensor.
2. Any renault dealer parts department can sell you a new sensor.
3. The new sensor has to be programmed to the car's tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

Could be a broken motor mount. The vibration would stop when you are moving because the transmission mounts would hold the motor stable, when in nutral the motor would be relying on the broken mount
try this ?= renew the throttle fly by wire control inside the the car ,they go just like the way you describe ,car runs then just stops ,leave and it goes again ,trust me been their got the teashirt on this one ,some customer paid out over 2000 euros to a renault garage for the same fault and it was still the same till a little bird told me what to change ,with one from the scrappers it been ok ever since
Problem here ?? what type of laguna as up till about 99 it was a manual hydraulic engine driven pump later ones had a electric over hydraulic unit at the front right side just behind the bumper ,top up on top of the unit later models have a electric motor under the dash with no hydraulics but a direct drive to the steering column which needs special software to reset the straight ahead position but this is a renault the pain vehicle of my life ,best advice is to buy a old XJ6 sovereign jag if your mileage per year is low
I have a 1998 Renault Laguna 2.2DTi and on occasion the ABS warning light comes on. The reason for it is nothing to do with the ABS but the seat belt pretensioner. Where the seat belt clips in, there is a plastic moulding around the seat belt restraint, if you put your hand inbetween the seat cushion and the moulding you will feel various cables - if you play about with them, the warning light will go out!
I have same problem with 2002 laguna. Before warning lights and revving at 2000rpm starts car feels jumpy. Have to stop, take card out of slot and back again to start without fault. Happens a few miles drive later again. Anyone got a solution?
