SOURCE: I am looking for a homelite super 2 service manual

I have that saw. The manual states if you are using Homelite 2 -cycle oil read and follow the instructions on the package. If you use other than Homelite oil use 16 parts gasoline to 1 part 2- cycle oil, 1 gal / 8oz

You can download then print your Homelite manual by going to www.homelite.com/service/product owners manuals the best way to do it is to right click on the material, left click save, put in in your Documents folder, then retrieve it to print if you actually have to hold paper. Good luck

Go to mymowerparts.com . They have a huge selection of parts lists available for free as pdf's. I have a 1983 Super 2, and I found one there. You'll have to scroll down a very long list, but stick with it. As for the service manual, good luck, I'm still looking for one myself . Surprisingly, your local library may be your best bet. Look under "chain saw repair" or "small engine repair". Also look for an owners manual, it has basic service information.
