SOURCE: LG 2277 Spinning intermittently "growling"

Followup: (of techwannabe)
After researching a bit further it was worth the investment to replace the sensor assembly and see if this would fix the issue. Viola! runs like a champ. The part was located locally for a mere $ 25.00 and with a few tools, strength of a gorilla to move the machine I repaired it. Yes a mother of four can complete the job! The unit works beautifully.........................

SOURCE: LE error code on LG WM0642 FL washer

LE is a locked motor error code.
It is usually associated with a loose motor connector wire or a defective Hall Sensor.

SOURCE: LG Tromm WM2075CW will not spin. I've done

Check first if repositioning the drain hose would help solve the problem. If your unit employs a drain valve, have it checked out. It has a solenoid or a small motor that opens and closes the part. Check as well the drain pump if it is running or no power is being supplied. Have the wire checked to see if there are loose connections.

My washer is saying LE, what does LE mean? It stopped washing!

Is this a new installation?
In new installations, this error can sometimes present because of a miscommunication between the control panel and the wash motor. In this instance, the washer simply needs to be reset.

Step 1: Unplug the washing machine.
Step 2: While the washer remains unplugged, press and hold the [Start/Pause] button on the front panel for 5 seconds.
Step 3: Plug the unit back in, and run a rinse and spin cycle to test if the LE code is cleared.

Are there soap suds visible in the drum?
Over-sudsing is the main cause of LE error codes. Using non-HE (high efficiency) detergents or too much detergent will cause stress on the motor. In addition, detergent residue can also cause leaking and odor. Follow these steps to resolved an LE error code caused by over-sudsing.

Step 1: Unplug the washer and allow the unit to sit for 30 minutes to give the suds time to dissolve.
Step 2: Plug the washer back in and press [Power] to turn on the washer.
Step 3: Do not choose a washing cycle. Press the [Spin Speed] key until "No Spin" is selected.
Step 4: Press [Start/Pause] to begin a drain only cycle.
Step 5: After the drain only cycle has completed, remove the clothing items from the machine. Turn the power back on and select [Rinse and Spin] and then press [Start/Pause]. This will remove excess soap suds and light residue from the drum. Repeat this step until no visible suds are in the drum of the washer.

Hope this helps.

Have a Kenmore 20902 top loading washer. Does aggitate in wash cycle, but wont spin in rinse. With drum empty, it will spin. Removed cloths, rung dry by hand and returned to drum. Still would not spin, but...

Your drum is in a sense sitting on a barring , it sounds like your barring is going out. Works with no weight, and if helping as you said. Normally means barring is worn out and can not handle any weight.

LG error code is 0E...what would be the problem

Washing machine has an LE error code --> Is this a new installation?

Has a large load size been used with a gentle wash setting?
Gentle wash cycles such as Perm Press, Delicates, Hand Wash, and Wool/Silk should only be used for smaller loads. Because the cycles are more gentle while tumbling and spinning, too many items in the drum can register as an issue with the motor. In this instance reset the unit and run a test rinse and spin cycle.

Has the washer been overloaded?
Single bulky items or large loads can add extra weight to the drum and place stress on the motor. Remove some of the clothing and restart. If the issue is still present after a few items have been removed, unplug the washer for 30 minutes to allow the motor to cool and then restart the cycle.
