If you are using a recent version of IE, in Manage add-ons, under "Show", select "all add-ons". Maybe it will be in there. Some add-ons are not active until they are required.

I still don't know why my flash player is not working and now I am missing some plugins even for this site. Why?

If you are running Firefox click the Tools menu, then Add Ons. Explore the Plugins tab to see if FlashPlayer is activated.
On Internet Explorer, open the TOOLS menu, Then Manage Complementary Modules (a loose translation of Gerer les modules complementaires ).
If you do not find the plugin, visit Adobe's site and download the player.

The flashplayer is installed on the computer but whatever programme I gointo theprompt says "installflash player"

Hello,
You may have to go into the control panel and select add / remove programs (xp) or programs and settings (vista /7). Select Adobe Flash and remove it. Open your browser to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ and reinstall the player. Select your operating system and in the version selection, highlight the newest version for the web browser you are using. If you aren't using a browser listed, select the 'other' version.
If you still get those errors after reinstalling flash, you may have the add-ons disabled in your browser. You can enable / disable browser plugins in Internet explorer:
Open Tools > Manage Add-ons Make sure that for Add-on Types the Toolbars and Extensions option is selected Make sure that Show the Currently loaded add-ons option is selected Select the flash item and if it shows disabled, enable it.

Internet explorer keeps crashing when I log onto facebook. Can you tell me whats going on?

The issue seems to be the with the Plug in installed. Please Disable all the Plugin's or try Using the Internet Explorer in Safe Mode(Without Addons). If the IE works fine without Addons,
Then it's time to find the corrupted Plugin.

Start Enabling Plugin one by one. I suggest to keep Plugins related to any Antivirus application disabled, start enabling the Adobe Plugins. Uninstall the Corrupted Plugin and update the remaining Plugins..

This resolves the issue.

When ever I open any pdf file, it shows that invalid adobe plug-in detected and that file will be closed

Open Internet Explorer on your computer. Make sure no other programs are running.
Click on the "Tools" button at the top of your Internet Explorer page.
Click on "Manage Add Ons" from the drop-down menu that appears. A list detailing the add-ons connected to your Internet Explorer will load.
Click on the Adobe plugin to highlight it. Click on "Remove" to delete it.
Click "OK" on the Internet Options.
Now next time IE will automatically install the Adobe plugin once more and you will be able to view PDF files.

I have gif.img being blocked by aol and when i click on it like it says to show img it turns into a plug in and i still cant view the img such as pictures tags playlist etc

Depending upon which browser you are using its a good idea to add most of the commonly used browser plugins

I suggest you do it manually for Java Runtime and Adobe Flash there are two one for IE8 and one Firefox make sure you install the correct one.

Java is used extensively on facebook for uploading pictures and Adobe Flash for High Quality website viewing.

Its also a good idea to install all the Plugins like Quicktime and Windows Media and Realplayer if you use it all MANUALLY as sometimes the plugin links from the website that is requesting it wont work.

Is your PC running with Win XP with Service Pack 2 or higher? Which browser do you use ( Internet explorer or Mozilla Firefox)
Check out the Add Remove Panel for the Latest installation of
1. Adobe Flash Player ActiveX
2. Adobe Flash Player Plugin

3. Adove Shockwave Player 11

Download it from this weblink: Flash Player

Also check this update for Microsoft

You need to uninstall Java and Adobe Flash Component from PC.

First, it is better to run in "Safe mode with Networking"; by pressing F8 key during Bootup.

After then, Uninstall Java, Then uninstall Adobe Flash component from the control Panel, then reboot PC.
Let me know after this if you are able to download and install the latest version of Java and Flash plugin from the link given:
Java Plugin
Flash Player .
And then reboot PC.
Let me know the status after it.

Ellin
