How do I set my toshiba remote ct 90302 to my toshiba 40rv525rz

It isn't the codes for the remote that matter, it is the television that you want to operate.

My only suggestion is to read the owner manual to see if the set has a lock out feature that stops the remote from doing any functions.

Try putting in a new set of batteries.

you can set up any like this
1. turn on what ever you want set up
2. press and hold set up tell light blinks or stays lit
3. push what you are trying to set up t.v. or dvd ect.
4. push power on/off tell it turns off
5. push enter when it turns off

We found the manual at home and was able to program the t.v. to recognize all the channels from cable and store them.
