Please perform a firmware update on your unit through using GB manager.
If that does not fix the issue, attempt the following steps to perform an emergency reboot:
*NOTE: If you have a WORLD unit, please replace the MENU button with the PROPLAY button to perform this reboot.
1. Please make sure that the unit is turned OFF.
2. Hold down the MENU button, then press the POWER button simultaneously.
3. Once the LCD (screen) powers on, release the POWER button BUT keep the MENU button pressed.
4. Once you see EMERGENCY REBOOT on the screen, release the MENU button and wait about 3-5 minutes for reboot to factory settings.

You may also try the emergency reboot using your computer (most effective way) by following these steps:
1. Make sure the GolfBuddy is powered off.
2. Please connect your USB cable to the computer WITHOUT your unit.
3. Hold down the Menu button.
4. As you are holding the Menu button down, please connect your GolfBuddy to the USB cable.
5. Once you see the EMERGENCY REBOOT screen, please release the Menu button but leave your unit connected to the USB cable until the process completes.

It is in auto reboot mode when a failure occurs. You need to take note of the SC Code that appears before it reboots. That will tell you what is malfunctioning. If it boots up with that - as in immediately - unplug the machine, remove the hard drive, plug in and reboot. Does it still occur? Yes? You need a service tech to check it out. No? Replace the HDD.

Hi. I'm not sure what you mean by reboot. If you just want to restart but you can't get Windows to shut down, hold the power button in until the machine turns off. Then press the power button once to restart. If that isn't what you wanted to do, please explain why you need to 'reboot'.

reboot can mean it that some program freezes and only chance is rebooting. i can´t help you with the wallpaper, but you can try to reset your phone (factory reset) - it could help.

This is due to the registry entries that are installed with Firefox. Any major changes to the system registry requires a reboot. However, a reboot in this case is not immediatelly necessary. You can ignore this error and reboot later if you are working on something, or close out all programs and reboot the computer.

If you have the recovery CD, then put that in the drive, reboot the laptop and make sure you boot to the CD. The recovery process will start up and you can restore the laptop to it's factory settings. Make sure you have all of your documents, music, etc. backed up.

I went to Admn Setup to reboot the system from Please Wait.... & it doesn't work!! Best Solution posted on Sep 19, 2008

Just had this problem with the 'please wait' - go into the admin setup and select Reboot Phone - it then works!

Are you sure you just want to reboot? If just want to reboot go to the arrow at the bottom next to the lock, click on the arrow and then click on restart. If this is what you were looking for please rate this as fixed. If not, please explain in more detail exactly what you need. Thanks.

its depends on how you make reboot.

• If you are making hard-reboot means just powering off the power supply, then you may be lost some data or files if they are open.
• If you are making soft-reboot i.e. from Start->Shutdown -> Restart, then you are not going to loose any bit of information or data.
