Can no longer pick up router signal

I have a small business office. We have two computers wired into the router, and broadband service sending signal into router. Everything with them seems fine. They can access the internet. But the one laptop that we have been using with a wireless signal, can not longer pick up a Netgear signal. We are getting several other signals, and have been getting on the internet, but service is slow at best. Does the wireless light still lit on the router? You can try changing the channel on the router (1 6 or 11) ans moving the antenna. If those things did not work upgrade the firmware of the router and reset to factory default. Do not forget to save the configuration file before you reset to factory default.

Unable to print from repeated wireless network

If you have done it properly there is no need to bridge networks because there should only be one. The entire idea of a repeater is to simply pick up the signal from the first router and rebroadcast the signal. If you had included the model of the repeater I could have been more specific but as it is, read this: Linksys Official Support Configuring an Access Point as wireless repeater

are you talking about WIFI signal or phone signal?
if you have the router set up that means it is a wifi signal. u can also get an ethernet cable (cat6 or 7 preferably) and plug from computer directly to router.
how was the original Grande Communications wired? or was it WIFI?
how is the ATT connected? wired or WIFI?

Wirelss router not working

I don't think it needs to be replaced. have you installed the installation disk that came with it, if so

if you have windows
1. go to my computer
2. click on the my network places tab on the left panel
3. then click set up a wireless network for a home or small office
4. then jut follow the wizard set by set.

if that doesn't work, make sure your computer's wireless adapters are able to pick up your router's N broadband signals. if not you might need to go out and buy wireless N adapters for all your computers.

Hi - My 2wire 1701 gateway has steady green power light and steady local network light but the broadband link light is steady amber. My computer is receiving the WiFi signal but I cannot get any internet...

The broadband link light tells you the status of the connection between the modem and the broadband servers in your area. Green means everything is A-Ok while amber means your modem is not picking up a broadband signal.

Try turning the modem off and on and also make sure the cables are secure while you're at it. If the broadband light is still amber, the only thing you could do next is to call your internet service provider.

DIR-300 router and broadband ISP connection,is NAT possible?

With a cable broadband connection, the cable line comes into the cable modem. The cable modem does the work changing the cable signal to a network connection and sends an I.P. address to the computer. With some cable internet providers you can hook the network cable into the in port on a router, wireless or wired, then hook up computers to the router. At this point the router gets the IP from cable and uses it's own IP routing for your internal network. Some broadband providers control your access by the computers mac address which registers with the vendor. If this is the case then the easy way to make it work is to get a router which can clone a mac address so the vendor still sees the same mac address.

Wireless connection

If this laptop has a wireless switch, make sure it's on.
Did you get the wireless hub?
Wireless is controlled by the wireless zero service, which should turn on automatically when your adapter is detected.
You can turn it on manually in Control Panel/Admin Tools/Services
