Voicemail setup at&t 974 - AT&T ATT-974 Corded Phone

On my model, it is not an app. You just press & hold the #1 button. If settting it up for the 1st time, it will give you directions. If you've already set it up, it will dial into your voicemail & let you know if you have any messages

I would also suggest downloading the manual. I have my answering service thru att and I call a phone # assigned to me to check messages at any time.

What model VTech DECT 6.0 phone? Are you referring to the messages on the answering machine or on the voicemail system provided by your telephone company?

How do I change the number of rings on the phone before it goes into voice mail? If I am not beside the phone, after 2 rings it will go into voice mail and I am missing calls. The model is AT&T 974.

Which mobile service carrier do you use? Are you trying to setup voicemail to play your messages on your phone, or are you trying to setup greetings and what not inside of the voicemail?

Your voicemail settings depend on where you live, and there are hundreds of different access numbers. If you are trying to setup the phone to connect to voicemail and are on Cingular/AT&T, call them at 800-331-0500 from a different phone and they can walk you through the setup easily since they have access to the appropriate voicemail access number for your location.
