Here are some steps you can try to clear the problem:
Check the Label Tape: Ensure that the label tape is properly installed and correctly aligned in the label printer. Sometimes, an improperly installed label tape can trigger an error message.
Check for Paper Jams: Open the label printer and check for any paper jams or obstructions that might be causing the error. Clear any jams or obstructions you find.
Replace the Batteries or Use AC Power: If your Casio KL-60 label printer is powered by batteries, try replacing the batteries with fresh ones. If you're using AC power, make sure the power adapter is working correctly and properly connected.
Perform a Soft Reset: Turn off the label printer and unplug it from the power source (if applicable). Wait for a few seconds, then plug it back in and power it on again. This can sometimes resolve temporary issues.
Check the User Manual: Consult the user manual or troubleshooting guide that came with your Casio KL-60 label printer. It may have specific instructions for troubleshooting error messages.
Factory Reset: If the error persists and you have tried all other steps, you may need to perform a factory reset to restore the printer to its default settings. Keep in mind that a factory reset will erase any custom settings you may have made.
This might be of help. I had a quick browse through it, but couldn't find reset to factory defaults in the contents. I'm sure it will have what you're looking for, though. Good luck.
The instruction manual is here. There is a way to reset the reporting data, if that is what you want. I don't see a way to reset all settings back to factory defaults, though.
