Scooter was working well then no movement either way has anyone any idea why this has happened it has been overhauled and worked for about 2 hours traveled about a quarter of a mile then stopped dead as i heavily rely on my scooter and am skint any suggestion would go a long way
First thing to do is check that you have not put the scooter in to lock mode, do a google search for the make and model of the scooter then add to the search "lock mode"
this should turn up the results to show you how to lock and unlock the scooter.
if not lock mode then:
you need to provide more information about the fault and the make and model, details of number of lights showing when the scooter is switched on and if they flash and or beep,
Hello Colleen Francis, please do not try to fix it yourself.Contact whoever Overhauled it & ask them what they can do for you. They should rectify the problem,if not.Mention you look into your Rights & hopefully you have kept any paperwork on the job.I hope this has helped.Have a nice day,Colin
I have not been well lately, but i hope you chose my answer to act on.It makes sense to return to the last 1 to work on it,if you start trying to fix via others. The last 1 could easily say "Why did you not get back to us".I hope you get a good result,my goal is to Help others & who better than the Disabled.I am disabled myself & wish i could do more.Colin

SOURCE: electric mobility Rascal 265 LE scooter won't run
Are you sure the batteries are charged ? Is the Battery charger charging ok ? Are the batteries connected ? take off seat and cover to check battery leads, does the key fit in the lock okay ?
SOURCE: electric mobility scooter says charge is full but won't run
This sounds she has tripped her circuit breaker. It works just like the one on your house, when you ask too much of it it suddenly goes 'pop' and seems to be dead.
Looks like you have the same scooter as mine, it should be a little white button on the back of the base. If you follow this link, it will give you a pdf version of the older model pride victory manual, (Mine is a three, they are up to about 10!) See fig. 8 on page 20 and 'Circuit Breaker' on page 21. Also, Page 33 has the troubleshooting info. Hope this helps.

Look at the rear of the scooter, make sure the Free Wheel lever is engaged
SOURCE: will not go. ohm wiring
me tool time you checked or changed about everything but did you check the electric brake. Sounds like the brake is not working or is working intermittentaly. The controller needs to get the right reading from the brake or the scooter will not go and when you release the throttle the brake should engage immediately. I can't give you a well thats the answer but you should at least ohm out the brake. If you can call rascal Company on Monday and ask for tech support they can give you what the reading should be Hope this helps
SOURCE: scooter has sat for long time inside. replaced
Unfortunatly, your batteries need to be replaced.
The batteries contain a gel that needs to have current run through it on a regular basis (at least 8 hours once a week) or it will solidify. If you attach the charger, what will most likely happen is the green light will either stay green or go to green after a very short time. The charger will indicate the batteries are full, but instead of being full of pwer, they are full of crud. Your warranty will most likely not cover replacment as this is due to customer neglect, but your insurance may still cover the replacement if you can wait for the process to go through. Otherwise, you will need to replace the batteries on your own. There is enough power to turn on the lights and honk the horn, but not enough to get the motors to work. Make sure all of your connections are good and the fuses are intact and that your manual brake release or freewheel lever is in the drive position.
Good luck!
