Why When turned on does My coffee machine switch, for water and milk preparation flash constantly and no other switches light up or allow you to do anything. What could be causing this?
Just in case somebody else comes looking for this answer. I had the same problem and finally fixed it by unplugging the unit for a bit (don't think this helped) and then simply turning the knob to steam until it stopped. Then it went into the normal standby mode. I think I must have missed the last step in one of the cleaning programs or something.
I saw this too late, but I think you are right. I did a froth clean even though I never use it. I thought it might be good for my much loved machine. I too probably missed something. I depend on YouTube how-to's but could not find one for this so used the manual. After panicking, I unplugged then tried it again after about 30 mins. I turned on steam and it stopped after a few seconds and all was working as normal!I saw this too late, but I think you are right. I did a froth clean even though I never use it. When all the lights on your Jura Impressa C5 are flashing, it typically means that the machine is experiencing a malfunction or error. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
Turn off the machine and unplug it from the power source for a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on again. This can sometimes reset the machine and clear the error.
Check the water tank and make sure it is filled to the appropriate level. If the water tank is empty or low, the machine may not be able to function properly.
Check to see if the brew group is properly seated in the machine. If the brew group is not properly seated, the machine may not be able to start a brewing cycle.
If none of these steps work, it's possible that there is a more serious issue with the machine that may require professional repair. In that case, you may want to contact Jura customer service or a professional appliance repair service for further assistance.

There is a magnetic float in water container. When down (empty) set switch and tells it needs water. When floats it is away from switch (switch off) and tells enough water. If says needs water even when enough water, the float switch stuck down or magnetic switch is faulty. Good luck.
With the machine in standby mode (that is plugged in, with the main rear power switch on, but you have not yet pressed the dial to turn the machine fully on), press and hold the filter button until the all three lights on the dial start to flash.
Simply turn the dial to the left until no lights flash.
The milk tubes should be submersed into water with a milk cleaning agent. sounds like you've left the milk tubes drawing from the fridge with milk in it. Bean to cup cleaning
You may need to go into program mode and "tell it" you replaced the filter. We normally do this when we replace water filters in Jura's. On the f60 you get into program and scroll using the water volume dial and push it in to set the changed value. Hope this helps
The common cause is that the frothing connection is faulty. You can look at the Guide to clean the Jura frothing connection, or try this. Take some bicarb or vinegar, dissolve in 400ml luke warm water, select cappuccino maintenance under the options, or press the milk button. Run the complete mixture through then. Run about 600ml of plain water through the spout. Turn the sport from froth to milk and back every 10 seconds.
If this does not work, then there may be a need to decal the machine.
