Problem with internet connection says when I connect my KOBO to computer and cannot sync any books. Kobo charged and can't access KOBO on computer

Through your computer Ter connect the tablet with charger cable go to kobo website put user and password all your will be on account then transfer back over to your tablet

Have you tried a usb from your computer and connect it to your ereader , you should be able to transfer from one to the other that way otherwise how else would you transfer without a usb device?

Most likely problems are that you are not logged in to the Kobo store and that you are not connected to the internet. Make sure both of those things are accomplished then try again!

One way is to use a program like Calibre on your computer. When the Kobo is connected, you have access to the books on it and can individually delete them.

You may need to delete KOBO and re-install the app. Your books will be saved because they are online.

If you don't see your books there, you didn't buy them under that user account, or they're been removed from your account. Call Kobo support in either case.

If the books are there, make sure your Kobo eReader is also logged in using the same account. To do that,
1 - Open the menu
2 - Tap Settings
3 - Tap Account

Under 'Signed in as', you should see your user account. If not, tap in Sign in and log in. After that you can sync your library with your Kobobooks.com account from the menu again.

Does she have a computer? Use the usb cord to connect the ereader to the computer and create a kobo account. This will create an icon for Kobo. Then all she has to do is click on the icon to sign in to make purchases and manage her library. She should be able to sync any updates with the USB cord.
