Nespresso milk frother instructions

I had the same problem. From reading various sites it is clearly a common problem. Most suggest phoning Nespresso to get it replaced but one website suggested turning the machine upside down. Not the base, just the aeroccino. Leave it like this overnight and it resets itself. I don't understand how that works but I tried it as it was a weekend and wasn't going to be able to call the helpline till Monday. And it worked! I now have proper froth again. Other suggestions seem to be try never to get the underneath wet (I think leaving it upside down ensures this area dries out completely), don't leave it on the base when not using and certainly don't leave it on.

Nespresso Frother burnt spot - how to avoid

Avoiding a burnt spot in the frotherBecause the frother impellar is magnetic, it will stick to anywhere on the bottom of the frother. It willĀ even stick to the bottom if it is not on the little pillar that it should spin on.If you insert the impellar into the milk after it is filled, it is very easy to think you have put it in the right place (because it seems to stick to the bottom). If it is not on the pillar it will not actually do its job of spinning (it needs to do this to create the "frothing", but also it is needed to circulate the milk to prevent a "hot spot" in the milk - burning occurs if the milk is not circulated). So . . . always check the impellar is correctly fitted - or burnt milk will be a problem

We have trouble with the milk burning on one side of the aerocino machine - it doesn't happen all the time but quite often. It leaves a brown burnt milk deposit which we have to scrape off. This has...

if you scrape with some hard service material you will have more problems you need to make sure the amount of milk sow is too low plus the stirrer inside the machine is spinning properly?

The milk doesnt heat up or froth but the button flashes red

We had the same problem with burn marks on the bottom and flashing red light etc. Now we just rinse the container out with cold water each time we use it - do not dry, just leave it wet and then add your milk. Heats up perfectly each time. The water lubricates the base of the container, preventing burning. Nice hot coffee every time now. Hope this works for you too!

Burnt Milk at Bottom of Aeroccino

Try this - make a paste from bicarbonate of soda and water and let it
sit in the bottom of the frother for ten minutes or so. Then use a sponge
to clean off the milk stain and rinse and dry thoroughly. To prevent it from
recurring, rinse and dry the inside after each use and don't get the base
of the frother wet.

I have an Nespresso Aeroccino that will not make froth

Sorry, but it looks as though you have the classic Aeroccino-problem. Nespresso states that leaving the Aeroccino on its base while it is plugged-in to the wall, will cause it to short-circuit (because there is no off-switch on the base, it is continually feeding full power to the frother), and the result is that it makes only warm milk. Replacement is the only solution...I hope you are still under warranty.
