The warranty offered by GE on the FUF17DPHRWH is one year for parts and labor from the date of purchase if the unit fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship. If you pay for the GE Service Protection Plus, you will get longer coverage. (However, I've found that for most appliances, you would be better off putting the annual fee for the service in a savings account. Then when the appliance fails, use the money in the savings account to repair or replace the applaince.)
The manual is available here:
http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-60441.pdf . If this direct link doesn't work, start at
http://www.geappliances.com/service_and_support/literature/ and enter the model number. Then click Submit.
I hope this helps.
