A few months ago, I tried to go to make an Nintendo id, and then it said online services not available.vi tried looking up how to fix the error, but no one had a video. Please Help!
Call Nintendo and tell them. They can give you details with code in hand. Looks to me like a Console Ban. meaning you might have done something that broke their rules. Go read their Terms of Service closely and see if you broke any. if you did. you are out of luck usually.. They are brutal. They dont trust you. They figure keeping a handful of cheaters or rule breakers completely out of the loop keeps the online stuff safer. But you could try pleading with them and they might lift the ban. Always worth a try. 1.800.422.2602 for nintendo support

SOURCE: error code 51031
Error Code: 51031 - I had same problem. Worked one day, not the next. I went into Wii Settings/ Internet/ Connection Settings/ Conection 1,2 or 3/ Clear Settings. Then click 'Search for access point'. Click on your your home internet (Sky, Virgin, O2 or whatever), input WEP (written on base of router) or private password if you changed the WEP when you first got broadband installed in your house and it should connect.
Did for me.
