Initially TV picture is normal with steady green light then after a minute, picture goes out and green light blinks. This last for about two minutes then picture comes back. This cycle continues. Bulb or fan? (or something else). What would case this cycling operation?

I think it was both. I've replaced the lamp driver and the lamp. TV works great!

I had the same exact problem.
I removed the bulb and cleaned it. There is a small screen at the top of the bulb and it was covered with dust. Once it was cleaned I replaced the bulb and it solved the problem.

id take it and have it repaired. people on here can tell you what they think it is but no one knows for sure what is causing the problem. a repair shop can guarantee the repair.
