How do I remove the front cover from a Fujitsu ASTA12LCC air conditioner?

  1. Turn off the air conditioner: Before attempting to remove the front cover, ensure that the air conditioner is switched off to avoid any potential hazards.
  2. Locate the release buttons: Look for the release buttons on the sides of the front cover. They are usually located towards the bottom of the cover.
  3. Press the release buttons: Using your fingers, press the release buttons inward towards the center of the unit. This should release the front cover from the main body of the air conditioner.
  4. Gently remove the cover: Once the release buttons have been pressed, the front cover should come loose. Carefully lift the cover upwards and away from the unit.
  5. Clean or maintain the unit: With the front cover removed, you can clean or maintain the air conditioner as required. Be sure to follow any instructions provided in the user manual or by a professional technician.
Note: The specific steps to remove the front cover from a Fujitsu ASTA12LCC air conditioner may vary depending on the model and unit installation. It is always best to refer to the user manual or consult a professional technician if you are unsure of the process or need additional assistance.

Maytag Square-Front (1998) and Sloped-Front (1999) Dryers Front Panel and Top...

Most of the internal components of Maytag Square-Front (1998) and Sloped-Front (1999) Dryers can be accessed with the removal of the front panel and lifting of the top cover. The top cover can only be lifted after the front panel is removed. Make sure that power to the machine is disconnected prior to servicing to avoid the risk of electric shock.

The first step is the removal of the four screws located vertically along the inside lip of the door opening. These screws hold the front panel to the front shroud assembly. Once the four screws are removed, grasp and press in on the upper edges of the front panel posts then twist it inward to release the clips holding it to the cabinet. Tilt the top of the front panel and move it away from the dryer.

The top cover is held on each side of the cabinet by hold down brackets. Locate and remove the 5/16" hex-head screws holding each bracket then swing the bracket to the outside and unhook it from the slot in the top cover lip. Open the door then lift the front of the top cover and tilt it toward the rear of the dryer.

The internal components of the dryer can now be accessed. Reinstall the top cover and the front panel in reverse of the removal steps.

This procedure is also applicable to Maytag Neptune Front-Load Washers. The only difference is the dispenser bezel removal.

Need to remove front panel located under the filter cover

Press around the panel edges while pulling back. There are probably plastic clip locks that need to be depressed to unlock. Flex carefully, taking care not to break the plastic cover.
