You will need to search for a wiring diagram for your model of car radio

car kit blue - connect to ignition cable OR connects to switched 12v cable going to radio
car kit red - Direct to +terminal of battery OR to constant 12v cable going to radio
car kit black - connects to GROUND going to radio
car kit yellow - connects to mute function of radio if your radio supports it.

OR
connect blue and red together and directly to battery
and connect black to Body of vehicle
(not recommended as could result in draining of battery, even thought the kit is supposed to prevent this).

Bluetooth

Are you sure you have bluetooth! Toshiba use the same hard drive image for the whole range of a certain model that is why you may have the software but not the hardware, have a look in device manager and see if you have a bluetooth device installed.

Installing Hard Drive on Dell 8300

Hi,

I am assuming that you are installing the Western Digital WD2500SB as a second Hard Disk in your Dell 8300. If it is connected along the same flat IDE cable as you old/original HD (Primary Master), you need to move the jumper in the WD for it to be as the Primary Slave. Instructions and illustrations are normally printed on the sticker atop the HD. If you are connecting it to the 2nd (Secondary) IDE, pls verify that it is not in conflict to any other device attached to it such as your CD/DVD. At any time, only 1 can be a master and the second device be the slave.

To verify that indeed your wiring/jumper and settings are correct, you can go to BIOS/CMOS setup immediately after powerup and determine if your PC has auto detected the new HD as well as the old/original HD & CD/DVD.

If for wahtever reason, the PC will not auto detect the new (Western Digital WD2500SB) HD and since it is new then, it should still be covered by the warranty and you can ask for a replacement.

If on the other handyou would want it to the the primary master and you would like to run your PC's OS on that new HD, you would need a CD installer/recovery to re-install the operating system.

Hope this be of help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.
