In a continuous cycle, my OfficeJet 8500A printer keeps telling me that is checking the printer and then tells me it is cleaning the print heads. Any solution?

Hello First of all dont use the reffil tooner & second one this type problem comes due to failure of any one tooner,& it can be clear only replacing all the tooners simultaniously one by one.
Try to do this if problem persists then write to me.

HP 8500 OfficeJet Printer Display keeps showing a message that my Magenta catridge is empty and need to be changed even though I changed it

Try cleaning out the cartridge slot. This is very often the reason that your printer isn't recognising it, because it's dirty.
I hope i was able to help.

Hp officejet pro 8500 cleans printhead everytime i turn it on. and it uses ink! how cani deactivate it? how can i set to cleaning it manually?

That is quite normal . All inkjets run a cleaning cycle when turned on to make sure there is a good flow through the printhead and to prevent the head from becoming blocked. You cannot turn it off.

My HP Officejet 8500 pro Wireless does not align. I have just put original HP cartridges. It shows a fail message and asks to refer to documentation

This is a mechanical problem... you need to refresh the settings on the printer.
Follow this steps to make your printer working
*Clean all the toners manually. (make sure that the printer is on) -get a clean wet cloth/ cotton swab. -take out all the ink cartridges in the printer. -use the wet cloth/cotton swab to clean the electrical contacts on the ink cartridge it self. -when your done cleaning all of them, put them in a warm area and make sure that it will not leak. -go back to your printer then, take out the printhead (the one that holds the inks) then you need to clean the electrical contacts as well.
after you cleaning those toners put them all back to the printer. click here to view the video clip on how to put back the printhead. click here to view the video clip on how to put back the inks. close the cover. (the cartridge access door) when your done doing it, proceed to the next step.
*Power cycle the printer -turn off the printer. -unplug the power cable at the back of the printer. -wait for 1min. -plug the power cable back in. -turn on the printer
*Clean the toners using the control pannel of the printer -press the Setup (wrench icon) button -keep on pressing the right arrow key then, look for the "tools menu" -under tools menu look for "clean printhead" -after your done cleaning it and its ask for level 2 cleaning process, please do so. -after cleaning press the setup again, look for tools, then look for align printer. -after aligning it, you should be getting the message "Alignment Successful"
Note: If your still getting the message "alignment failed" contact HP printers support department 1-800-474-6836.
Congrats in advance! :)

WHAT IS DENSITY SENSOR IN LASERJET 8500

The Density Sensor is located inside the right upper door and senses the colour calibration pattern for each colour formed on the transfer drum during a calibration cycle. Press GO. Print a configuration page and then troubleshoot as an Image-quality problem as instructed in the user manual. Check the transfer guide for cracks and replace if necessary. Check the event log for errors numbered 54.00.0<X> the X indicates, 5-sensor abnormality, 4-Cyan, 3-Magenta, 2-Yellow, 1-Black. The last 3 error codes should be seen on the Configuration page.

clean under the flaps of it with a ear bud or something , there must be some dust or something inside of it. hope this helps in some way.

Xerox 8500 excessive ink use

Hi,

One of the reasons this could be happening is because you are using non-xerox ink so your print head needs to clean it out much more often. Be careful using other ink as this can destroy the machines printhead which is more expensive then the machine itself to replace. What you could try is installing the new printhead firmware, it might help! Follow the link below and good luck!

Phaser 8500 cleaning page

You can't. Just simply stated. It is the way it's designed.
Per Xerox below

NOTE: The automatic printhead cleaning cycle cannot be disabled.
The printer performs automatic printhead cleaning cycles to remove air bubbles or foreign matter that can cause a printhead jet to malfunction. An automatic printhead cleaning cycle is performed when the printer is first powered ON, or if the ink has cooled to the point that a cleaning cycle is required.
Powering OFF the printer longer than 3 or 4 minutes will also cause the printer to perform a printhead cleaning cycle when the printer is powered back ON, which uses ink. To minimize ink consumption, keep the printer powered ON at all times.
