I can't get my Tracker to go beyond the first page, where we usually hit the ENTER key. It stays there for several minutes. Then it starts searching for satellites, endlessly.
I was wondering if I could just reset the unit to factory default. It might solve the problem, just as in computers.
Thank you

Apparently it is the internal battery that might be at fault or just be old. I'm going to replace mine as it costs a fortune to get Navman to do it. Can't find any info on how to do it, but should be simple. Only thing is that you lose all waypoints and other user input data (unless you have the PC Planner from C-Map).
Have the same problem??
Used to take less than a minute to acquire satellites now takes 10-20minutes.

Usually answered in minutes!
Takes up to an hour to get signals from all satellites, then does not operate with the chart card.
I'm having the same problem. Used to work fine. Now just says its "aquiring satellites" forever. If it does get a fix, it will only hold a fix for about 5 minutes, then goes back to aquiring satellites.
Mine does exactly the same, there is an internal battery, soldered to the board, does anyone know if changing the battery actually cures the fault?
I have a similar problem, the gps was droped, the solders to the aerial were brocken and the battery came loose all solders have been made good!! Now it won't aquire satalites just looks. has anyone found the answer please
