Frigidaire Error Codes

Error Code: F0, F1, F5, F6

• Code Description: Electronic oven control failure
• Solution: These codes indicate a malfunction in the electronic oven control. The electronic oven control (EOC) may also be referred to as circuit board, control board, mother board, ERC, or clock. Unplug the appliance for about 10 minutes to see if the error code will reset itself. When you reconnect the power, if the error code is still displayed, you can test the temperature sensor with an Ohm meter to determine if it has the proper level of resistance. If the oven control is failing or defective, replace it.

Hello - Could it possibly be error code F13 or F36? According to my research this manufacturer does not have an error code F136. Try resetting the unit by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and see if the error code clears. If it proves to be ineffective, contact a professional to move forward accurately to properly diagnose the unit.

The error code F6E5 means "Cancel key error". Press the "Cancel" and "Start" keys in the following order: CANCEL, CANCEL, START. Verify the error code displayed on the control by observing for longer then 1 minute. If the error comes back then the control board needs to be replaced..

Fault Code F2 - Error Code E1: Code Explanation: Keypad keytail not connected. Recommended Repair Procedure: 1. Check keypad connector for firm connection. 2. Press CANCEL. If error code returns after 60 seconds, replace keypad. 3. Replace control.

Concerning the F-5 code. This is an oven temp sensor failure code. have it replaced asap. ((Check the wiring leading to and from the control and sensor for cracks and fouled structure. if the wiring is bad, replace the harness as well)),
