Just contact Amazon and Return it. Log into your Account, click Orders, Find that Item, click Return, it will ask why? Tell them it leaked and set on fire when you used it for the fist time!

This depends where you bought it from, and what country you are in (as well as how long you have had the product). Return policies are determined by the policy of the seller, these may specify a time limit on returns, whether you can return an item that is used, and who pays for the return shipping if any. Contact your seller to find out the policies. If you purchased from Amazon, it depends whether the item was sold or fulfilled by Amazon, or sold by a third party "Marketplace" seller. Read the Amazon policies and the policies of the seller. You may also have rights of return depending on the country you purchased it in. Without knowing the make and model of the product or the seller, that's the best we can do.

If the player is satisfactory Amazon or one of the members are under no obligation to accept the return and even if faulty they are under no obligation because their contract is with the purchaser and not yourself, therefore it is the original purchaser who must ask if it can be returned and it is the original purchaser who will receive the refund back in his or her account.

well im not quite sure why u posted a question about a hot water heater here in the flat panel tv forum ?? but if it doesn't work and it was sold as new from amazon its easy to return it to them just go to there site and see return item in your user section (item selected) if wasn't sold as new but used then things get a little difficult youll have to see if that vendor even allows for returns (not all do)

Contact customer support at amazon and explain the problem to them.

use My hermes or another overnite courier they are not so fussy, or don't say its a battery. Put computer parts
