when you were on amazon and were starting to make the purchase you should have gotten a popup asking you if you wanted to switch to your Prime Account. Otherwise, I don't know.
Once your account is closed, it's no longer accessible by you or anyone else. Keep in mind:
You won't have access to other websites using your Amazon.com log-in (Audible.com, accounts at international Amazon sites (co.uk/.fr/.de/.es/.ca/.in/.au/.com.br/.nl/.it/.com.mx) except for Amazon.cn and Amazon.co.jp, etc.)
You won't have access to digital content related to Amazon Music, or your Amazon Appstore purchases
You won't have access to your customer profile including your reviews, discussion posts and customer images
You won't have access to your account history (including credit card information, order history, etc.)
Returns and refunds can't be processed for orders on closed accounts (including textbook rentals)
If you have a remaining Amazon.com Gift Card or promotional credit balance, you won't have access to use the funds
Note: If you own a Kindle and have your account closed, you'll no longer have access to any Kindle content and subscriptions via this account.
If the purchase went through it will be listed On amazon.com log in and place mouse over lists and accounts, under your account click on manage content and devices. If you do not see the item listed the purchase may not have gone through. Check you credit card account to be sure and then contact Amazon to ask what happened.

If you purchased your Amazon Fire TV device online from Amazon using your Amazon account, it should already be registered to you. If you purchased your Amazon Fire TV device from another retailer or received it as a gift, follow the on-screen instructions for entering your Amazon account information and password.
To verify that your Amazon Fire TV device is registered to your Amazon account:
From the Home screen, select Settings > My Account.
If no account is currently registered, select Register to register your Amazon Fire TV device to the desired Amazon account.
If you would like to register a different Amazon account, select the Amazon account that is currently registered, and then select Deregister.

If you bought it through Amazon Instant video you may have access through the Amazon app in the Channel store. If not call Amazon they may refund the purchase and add it to the Roku Amazon account. They may be linked. I have a Kindle Fire and I know that you really need a Kindle Fire HD to watch movies.
