Product worked fine, but now The fans won't turn on, speed controls don't work, only things work on display, not panel surrounding display. Help.

You may need an entire new panel, including computer and fans. The same thing happened to mine less than a year into the warranty. Fortunately (and I feel very lucky) the company sent me a replacement for the entire panel along with installation instructions. It was actually pretty easy to install--i.e. put on the frame. I had to box up the old one and ship it back. The replacement, they told me, was valued at about $2200, or more than the entire treadmill had cost me. Hope you are lucky too and your warranty covers it if that's what you need. BTW, I've had the replacement for about a half year and it's working just fine. Except for that problem, I love the machine.

SOURCE: I have a Nordictrack Solaris C2050 with the

I have the same issue I don't think anybody (including the supposed "experts") really know what they are talking about. The buttons work until they don't and then a bunch of them all stop functioning at once. The advice I always get is "replace the console" which amounts to saying "I don't know what's wrong" If I had to guess I think a static discharge has damaged the contoller board which doesn't manifest itself until the machine (and hence the board) warms up. Anyhow I haven't found a real solution to this issue if anyone has any real knowledge please post your solution.

My control won't activate the light on my Hunter fan. The light comes on via pull chain fine, and the control works the 3 speeds on the fan, but the light won't respond.

Check the wiring on your receiver to make sure the light wire is connected. You have to have the light on with the pull chain and then use the remote to turn it on/off.

Rear blower: only works on high when set on cold, won't work at all when set to heat

I would start with the rear blower motor resistor, the resistor is what controls the speed of the fan, the resistor is located in the rear heater box near the blower, you will need to remove the right rear side panel to access the heater box. start with that

A/C control 1 and 2 not working...No air coming.. but 3 and 4 ok...

You have a faulty blower motor resistor. Usually they're located on the blower motor or behind the A/C controls. The resistor controls speed settings. When they become faulty (common) certain fan speeds don't work or all speeds may fail at once.

Hello, NFS Hot pursuit 2010 on the Xbox 360 officially supports the Microsoft wheel but any Xbox 360 wheel will most likely work fine....their words. I haven't played the console version but if you say the wheel works I suggest you try remapping the pedal controls under gameplay settings if this is possible

I hope this helps, thanks for using FixYa.

Hi!!
The Blower Motor Resistor also called Manual Temp. Control resistor), is fried, replace. The price with floor console $25 and without floor console $65. here is a pic.

the resistor is located on the blower motor housing, fastened by two screws. It is the part where the electrical plug connects, the plug on the pic. goes to the blower motor.
A HELPFUL - 4 THUMBS rating for this solution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for using FixYa.

HB ceiling fan is getting slower and slower bi the day

Solid-state controls change the level of power in the fan motor to control the speed of the fan. For instance, when you switch from medium to high on a solid-state fan, the speed control mechanism increases the power of the motor. Solid-state controls are generally equipped in fans with controls that have predetermined settings, such as low, medium and high.
The solid state device in or around the fan motor could be defective and in need of replacement.

A/C blower problem

I replaced the power control module. The module is located, electrically speaking, between the A/C head unit and the blower. Physically it is behind/under the glove compartment in the air ducting for cooling. The GM parts counter charged me ~$140.
