My bush 32inch smart TV keeps turning itself on and off I turned it on by the mains this morning and all of a sudden it turned itself on and the I tried to use my remote to change the channel but it didn't work and ten it turned itsel off it has been doing it every 15 or so seconds for the past 3 hours what's wrong with it? HELP please

Main board fault. Check and replace damaged component/s at it main board circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Viewing it in "Mosaic" or "Magazine" will make surf easy. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. Do a search by type in the brand name of your device at its search box.

Come on, lets try to solve this. Take the batteries out of the remote so it can't interfere and try changing the channels and volume with the buttons on the tv. If this works then someone has spillled something onto the remote and gummed it all out. You simply need to take the remote apart and clean it out. If the buttons on the tv do th same as the remote did then yes, take it back.

reset tv unplug one minute turn off main power plug in turn on main power try again, if not try different input and source ie dvd player or cable box
