The remote for my son's 13" Disney Pixar T.V. stopped working suddenly. I've tried changing the batteries and it's still not working. Where do I get another one?

I think that the wire is for establishing communication between Mater and the remote. My son got one this year for Christmas and the batteries wore out quickly. I replaced the batteries in both, turned both off, hooked up the wire, then turned both on. When I disconnected the wire, it works again.
I had the same problem. To fix it I removed all of the new batteries except for the left leg. Turn buzz to Try Me Mode on his back. put the batteries back in. After the batteries are in stand him up and switch him to off for 5 seconds. Then switch him to play mode and he should come to life.
No,codes for this tv in the universal remotes in the market.Don't know who put this tv together for Disney Corp. But they do have original remotes to sell.Try website like Remotes.com to buy an exact remote to the original.
try partstore.com google disney cars tv replacement parts and it is one of the generic links on the right side of the screen. It looks like all they hve is replacement remotes, feet, speakers, and headphones for said tv/dvd.
You can "manually" find your code by
1. pressing tv button on the remote
2. press and hold setup until TV button blinks twice
3. press 991, the tv button should blink once
4. slowly press and alternate the power and tv buttons until tv turns off.
5. press setup to lock in the code when tv turns off.
hope this helps,

Philips Magnavox makes the remote. Not sure about the model #, but you can get to the audio/video or DVD by scrolling through using the channel buttons on the unit itself. I have also been successful with a universal remote with the exception the channel up and down would not fuction correctly, but direct entry did, as well as the source select. Hope this helps.
What is an ac cord 110v? I don't know much about that stuff.
