Many different possibilities. Could be thermal fuse, timer / control, motor. Start switch, or door switch. Most likely need to call service unless you have means to troubleshoot and test parts.

If you have ever removed the lint filter area completely via the screws that hold the plastics in so you could clean it then remove it again and insure that you plugged in the two wires that go to the strip sensor.. (moisture sensor)

SOURCE: Kenmore Elite HE3 Dryer clothes not dry after cycle

it sounds like a clog in vent.if yours vents up thru roof you may need to have a chimney sweep come out and sweep vent.check and make sure the vent hose is net kinked or full of lint.

Wrinkled clothes

My wife, who runs "dryer central", stops the dryer short of complete drying and hangs the clothes that are easily wrinkled.
You may also have the heat set too high, or the time set too long, causing the problem.
Try experimenting.
Be blessed.

DRYER DOOR WILL NOT STAY CLOSED WHEN IN USE

Most likely the receptacle that the door latch goes into is broken. Go to local appliance parts dealer with model number and buy the $5 part, or order through Sears Parts Direct online.

Kenmore model 80 electric dryer won't start

sounds like you have a heating element that is touching ground somewhere ie bracket frame wall etc. possibly blew the little white fuse in the back with the 2 blue wires on it or door switch broke. but always reset the breakers just to be sure.

Kenmore HE4 Dryer leaves clothes wet

From the techincal document found in the dryer bottom panel

TEST #4a Dryness Level Adjust

NOTE: If the customer is complaining about the clothes being damp and the moisture sensor passes TEST #4 "Moisture Sensor Test- step 3, then the total dry time can be lengthened by changing from a "Lo" for short auto cycle to "Hi" for longer auto cycle.

1. Activate the Diagnostic Test Mode. Press the following button sequence: MORE TIME ~ LESS TIME -+ MORE TIME --+ LESS TIME - all within 5 seconds

1. In diagnostic test mode, press and hold the Auto Dry Level key for 5 seconds. The dryer will beep and the current auto cycle mode will be seen on the display. The factory default setting is "Lo".

1. To select a different auto cycle mode, press the Auto Dry Level key again. The dryer display will flash and show either "Hi" or "Lo"

1. With the display flashing the selected auto cycle mode press the Start key to save the setting and exit diagnostics (the Start key in this mode does not start a drying cycle). The result will be stored in EEPROM of the control board.

Dryer starts drying and thinks clothes are dry, but they aren't

Check the timer, and the sensor. Sounds like it is having a problem with the timer or sensor no noticing that the clothes are still wet. Please rate if satisfied. Thank you
