Lets do this, with the tv on go to the menu and if it's still has the white spots, it's most probable to be your dmd board, if the white spots are gone it might be your video board
Contact sony as they have been helping customers with the blue spot issue on alot of the wega as the optical block fails causing the blue spots.Sony will cover the cost of the repair. Sony guarantee the consumer to replace the optical block assembly for thousands of dollars in parts and labor every four years or when the pink and blue spots appear every time. Then replace the optical block assembly again and again every time the spots appear.
is $350 a reasonable price to fix this?
