Hi, you can learn how to set it up, thread the need and many other things by downloading the brochure on this LINK.......
You can also learn all the necessary technique about your machine on this LINK because the brochure does not really say much...
And for repairs, contact Janome technical support on 1-800-631-0183, ext. 775.

SOURCE: howto thread a twin needle on Janome 6019

Hi there. If you have an acessory kit with your machine, there should be a plain spindle with a smaller bottom on it. There should also be a small hole on the top or back of your machine where your thread goes.. And yes you can thread both strands of thread thru the same areas till the needle.

Thread jams causing bobbin holder to pop out of housing

try rethreading the machine
change the needle--flat side goes to the back of the machine
check to see if the thread is coming off the thread take up lever when sewing
make sure the thread is not getting caught some where on the machine
make sure the tension is not to tight, usually 3 or 4 is good
clean under the needle plate & in the bobbin area for lint or loose thread

I have no manual! Can you tell me how to thread the excel 5018?

There's a partial manual available on the Janome site foth the Excel Pro 5124, perhaps it's similar enough to your machine?

I need a user manual for my Janome 18excel please

Hi
The Janome site has a manual for the Excel 5124 but I couldn't find one for the Excel 18. It's quite a basic manual, in that it just gives help with the different parts and threading etc.
It should be useful as the two machines look similar.

Bobbin jamming immediately on my my 5124. Can't

Recheck the bobbin to be sure the thread is feeding from the bobbin spool in the correct direction and through the proper guides.

Re-thread the machine with the presser foot up.

Make sure the needle in inserted with the flat side to the back of the sewing machine.
