Not sure how to remove?
1) Disconnect battery
2) Disconnect electrical wires from starter
3) Remove bolts that attach starter flange to bell housing. Sometimes you will need a long extension to get a socket on the back one. Hint - Remove the hard to get bolt first. That way it's easier to support the starter while you remove the other bolts.
Gotta love old Chevys. Thet were easy to work on.
Remove the to bolts to the starter and the nuts holding the wires on.
