I have the fix to this problem. Open Smurf Village--> click options--->restart village---> Yes---> Yes, sure-->fast forward through all the talk to get to new village--> Plant garden--->plant crop (you will notice there are no smurfs and the crop will not be planted)--> harvet the crop to the north--> now back out of the village and back to the main screen---> Click play and there you are back at your old village with nothing missing. I have had to do this every other day since the last update. Current phone is HTC EVO 4G
