I cant get the cover of the internal light to change the bulb. Its stuck any ideas?

I don't know what you are working on, but if an interior light or a dome light, and the lens or cover doesn't have screws, then it probably is retained by plastic tabs that have to be pried or pinched a certain way to release the cover. Use a small flat blade screwdriver (like a surgeon's scalpel- carefully!) to pry up a corner or to poke for the tabs.

How do you remove lens cover to change out the light bulb in the interior dome light in a 2003 Highlander.

Look very closely at the lens cover, you will see two small slots at the edge of the lens, use a small screwdriver and pry in those slots to pop the lens cover off.

Regrding Olympus Stylus 500.. When turned on the lens cover opens half way twice then closes with a green flashing light and beeping sound.

Have just solved similar problem with mine. Problem turned out to be that the lens cover was very slightly dented in. It didn't really look dented at all, but just wasn't quite symmetrical and was a bit more recessed on the side away from the shutter button. This was causing it to rub on the case when it tried to slide. (Mine had been not sliding completely shut for a while before it stopped opening properly too).

To fix it I undid two small cross head screws which let the front panel be prised off. On mine, with the front panel off, the lens and lens cover mechanism all worked perfectly, as the problem was that the lens cover was rubbing on the front panel. If yours is still broken with the front panel removed, then your problem is not the same as mine...

I used a small screwdriver to push out the metal bar on which the top of the lens cover slides, pushing on the right hand end of the bar to slide it left and out through the USB connector compartment door. That lets the top of the cover come off the bar and move freely. To take the cover off, it has to be detached from the arm which moves it. There is a pivot trapped in a slot in the arm, but once the cover is off the bar at the top, it can be moved down so that the pivot reaches the bigger hole at the bottom end of the slot in the arm. This lets the whole lens cover come off the camera.

I then used a screwdriver to gently push out the middle of the cover until its shape was more symmetrical. (I'm not sure a screwdriver was ideal for this, as there are now tiny lumps in the cover where I was pushing it).

Putting it back together was the reverse of taking it apart, although you can test whether it's fixed or not before doing up the screws holding the front panel on.

Need to change or check the dome light on 2006 CRV - fuse changed but still doesn't come on

You will have to pry off the lens CAREFULLY using a small screwdriver. There are two (or more) little plastic protrusions on each long side of the lens which fit into the casement. Look for very small slots along the side of the lens to insert the blade of the screwdriver. You can ease the casement away from the lens enough to get it to pop out. Re-inserting it is the same, but probably easier.
Gently, give it a try (the pic is probably a bit different from your vehicle, but it will give you an idea of how the lenses fit)7dfcfd8.jpg.
Hope this helps you.

How do you remove, w/o breaking, the lens cover to access the map light bulb in order to replace it. And BTW, what replacement bulb does it take ? Thanks a bunch ! P.S. This is a 2006 Honda pilot

You should be able to see, if you look closely, a couple of very small grooves along the side of the lens. You will have to pry off the lens by CAREFULLY inserting the blade of a small screwdriver. There are little plastic protrusions on each long side of the lens which fit into the casement. You can ease the casement away from the lens enough to get it to pop out. Re-inserting it is the same, but probably easier.

Front cover change

hi there
this is the procdure...

First remove the back cover, the battery and the SIM card.
Now remove the top part of the back cover (the part above the camera). Do this by inserting a small flat bladed screwdriver between the white and black parts of the phone, and lever the screwdriver up like a small crowbar on either side of the lens. The black cover should slide up and off the phone.
Looking at the top of the phone, remove the small on/off button and put it in safe place. Also remember to remove the little mirror or rubber grommit from beside the camera lens and put that in the same safe place as the on/off button. Losing these little bits will cause you no end of pain as they are not available as spare parts.

The next bit to remove is a small green plastic bit of circuit board. It's clipped in and sprung against some data pins. Again using the flat bladed screwdriver, pop it off in the direction of the top of the phone.

The whole rear of the phone should now be exposed. Using a T6 torx screwdriver, unscrew the four small screws indicated. Put these screws in that safe place.
Once the screws are out, hold the phone like so, and squeeze gently on the sides and lower edge of the phone case, the pressure should be enough to create a small gap between the fascia and the sides, using a fingernail or thin plastic (like a credit card) make the gap bigger until the fascia pops off. Repeat on the opposite side of the phone if required.

The fascia should now lift off completely, exposing the front of the phone.

Push your replacement fascia on until it clicks into place, and reassemble the phone. if all has gone well, you should have a T310 that looks as nice as the one shown above.

All the Best.
