If need to install a driver for your sound-card. Go to your computers manufacture website. Support & downloads find the driver that matches your system and windows, run driver from that website. Larry
Click "Start" > Click "Run" > type "msconfig" > click "Ok" > click tab "Startup" > Click "Disable All" > click "OK" > Restart system - should take care of the slow performance of laptop.
You have to format and rinstall everything,, but before you do
1.) turn it on
2.) wait 12 horus for it to start up
3.) click start then in the ruin box type msconfig
4.,) diablke all services and all atart up programs
5.) Shut down, save changes and pray it works
If that fails then you will have to format and reinstall everything. get it booted back up your files and insert the windows cd. follow the instructions on the screen to do a clean install.
