Most of the time it is shown on the screen, but F10 is also one of the favourites. It also should be in the manual.

SOURCE: Can't enter BIOS

I had this problem. Puzzled the hell out of me. Reading the posts above led me to believe it might be a problem with the USB keyboard. I changed the keyboard to a different USB port, and Bingo, I was in there!

SOURCE: windows keeps restarting. I can't

I have encountered this problem.my solution is this,
STEPS: 1.)Remove you HDD and place it to another Computer or PC.Then make it a slave drive or secondary drive. 2.)If your computer detect your HDDr,try to right on it and press Properties>Tools>Error Checking and press CHECK NOW. 3.)After that check the two check box and then press START. (if it says that you need to restart your computer, just restart it) 4.)Then when the scanning and repairing is done.put back you HDD on your desktop and it will work and boot properly.

I need to access BIOS at start.

Hi, it's normally F2. Sometimes F12.

Keep pressing F2 or F12 repeatedly as soon as you have pressed the power button on the PC, this may get you into the BIOS

What is the f2,f8, r f12 want work? only the Ctrl+ Alt+ del that wroks

F2 usually takes you to the BIOS setup screen, you need to hit the keys as soon as you power up.

F12 selects on a Dell instant boot menu to select booting from CD-ROM, USB, etc rather than the BIOS options.

F8 goes to safe mode start up for windows, this must be done before the windows logo comes up (ie when it is a black screen).

Control - Alt -Delete Keys together can be used any time, after windows boots as it tells it to re-boot the computer, back to start up.

Press DEL to get to your bios options then disable fast boot. This will allow you to hit the appropriate key to enter the boot menu.

Ideapad Z560 neither accessing BIOS setup or is starting normally

Your bios seems corrupted. You will probably need to reflash from a thumb drive which is bootable. The F2 should get you to booting screen to access the thumb drive to boot from to flash the bios.

Then check with again F1 or F2 ,"del" ,F12,F8 or TAB or enter key.

Which key to press at startup to gain access to BIOS E2180 Intel

There are a number of keys used to access the system BIOS at startup. F2 is probably the most common, but I see you've already tried that. I've also seen the ESC and DEL keys used, so try those. If that doesn't work, start working your way across the F1-F12 keys.

Hope this helps. Please take a moment to rate this solution. Thanks.
