The weed wacker i purchased will not accelerate properly. I first time i used it, it would only work at full throttle. The second time i used it, it would not accelerate at all. It would shut off. I have used new fuel mixture.

SOURCE: weed wacker started and wacked some weeds then the
pull off string housing check that all parts are there. run machine and see if shaft is turning-- if it is then put housing back on sometimes I havent put the housing on properly. if shaft is not turning. then repair is needed. or just buy a new one. cost of repairs on this stuff is not worth the cost. unless it's a profesional grade machine..

not enough info! The fuel filter is in the fuel tank and the air filter is located out side the carburetor!
